Special CE Requirement for ALL TN X-ray Operators

The Tennessee Medical and Osteopathic Boards now require that 2 of the required 20 biennial Continuing Education (CE) credits pertain to appropriate Tennessee Board Rules, Ethics, Sexual boundaries, and other related topics. These hours must also include content related to the ARRT Standards of Ethics for fully certified licensees. Do you report my CE credits to the ARRT® or ASRT?

No. Although X-Ray News tracks successful course completion, neither the ARRT® nor the ASRT allows CE providers like X-Ray News to report an activity to them on your behalf.

If you are a member of the ASRT, the ASRT will track and transfer credits to the ARRT® on your behalf during your reporting period. You are responsible for sending copies of your certificates to the ASRT so that they can track and report your activity. More information about the ASRT's track and transfer options are available on the ASRT website.

How many chances do I get to pass a test?

You will have 3 attempts to successfully complete a test. A score of 75% or higher is needed to pass.
